Halloween is kind of a big-ish thing with my friends, so I'm going to a party, but it's weird how on the one day I could be completely accepted for dressing congruent with my gender, I couldn't bring myself to do it. Feels too much like saying the truth for the wrong reasons.

I always celebrate Halloween along as well as my friends. For the past three years (including today!) it has been raining/snowing, so it just hasn't been as fun. But I still love the holiday and dressing up. I guess I've technically cross dressed (Raggedy Ann), and that was a few years ago and everyone loved it. I'm not too picky on the gender of whatever I dress up as. Just as long as it's funny! (I love the scariness in Halloween but love the funniness in costumes)

I'm gonna stay home and watch stop motion Tim Burton movies while my parents take my baby brother trick or treating. It'll be awesome:slight_smile:

My favorite holiday that I never celebrate. Except with watching horror movies and playing castlevania.

Nothing really except a Netflix horror movie marathon later. I've got Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser, The Fly, the Babadook, and Let the Right On In.

The Shining and the Exorcist were going to be part of it but Netflix pulled them off. :tantrum:

But it's not Halloween I'm looking forward to. It's all the discount candy at the store tomorrow and Nanowrimo.

Well I have no friends or confidence, so I've spent most of my day today at a record shop and at home playing pinball. My life is full of joy.

Starting at a party with my former grad school classmates, which will be the first time I've seen most of them in months. Then I'm going to see a cover band play the Thriller album.

My bf and I are going as Mr. Garrison and Mr. Hat from South Park

Nope not really into all the halloween stuff I don't really get scared easily since I know everything is fake so it's not really my favorite day of the year I'm more about Christmas

The usual. Went to a small party, watched a stage show of Rocky Horror and had a terrible costume.

I was originally going to go as the flying nun, but the habit was too short for the rollerblades and it would have looked awful. Instead, I just put signs on my torso with "ATAR" (the Australian university entrance ranking) written on them, with smaller writing saying "future", "career choices", "life in debt", "capitalist-minded education system", "impending adulthood", "voting" and stuff like that.

Cheap and cliché but it got a laugh. I saw a surprising number of kids trick-or-treating. I haven't remembered it being that common at any point.

I'm not doing anything this year except lay in bed watching netflix. I have a nasty viral sore throat, so I don't want to infect anyone and this codine makes me loopy.

I love Halloween, but this year I'm just hanging out and watching Netflix. If we had more trick or treaters where I live I'd totally be handing out candy, though! Maybe next year!

Might as well just cut a Hallowe'en face in an Easter egg then plonk a sparkler in it and drape some tinsel over the bloody thing and that'll take of all of the years' festivities in one go!

Its getting more and more popular each year in the UK.

I have my own views on it though ....

Yesterday for Halloween, I was the same thing I am every year: an overweight gay Italian atheist with Aspergers and a goatee.
