Weight doesn't matter too much to me. Most of the people I've crushed on have been pretty thin, with one or two who were overweight, but not obese. I don't know enough obese people to have found one I'd date. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Health is more important than me. Like, I'm overweight, but I'm also a runner with no major health problems. I could never date one of those people who -- thin, obese, whatever -- panted after walking up a staircase.

I hope you've picked up in this thread that attitude, more so than appearance, is what attracts people. So if you are convinced that nobody will like you because you have a bit of a stomach, then they likely won't. But if you have self confidence and 'carry yourself' well, then it's not going to be an issue for anyone but the most vain of people - and you don't want to date those people anyway.

And this is an opinion poll.

    And that's my opinion.

I see no-one asking for help on this thread.

    I just said.
    People who are overweight...
    like other people have said
    are within my preference

But someone say, clinically obese is not.

    I know the rules.
nd prefer not to be patronized with them

I personally like guys that are in shape. I don't think I would date a guy that is over weight/obese.

oh this thread first it made me sad then paranoid and now i just find it funny

i like a normal person a bit of a belly is ok but not fat.... i dont like skinny but i like someone whos thin and works out 24/7 to keep the abs..... its personality but is till like him to be fit.... theres so many double standards and contradictions in this thread haha...

the best is liking someone who is overweight but not clinically obese....thats funny as you can be clinicaly obese and not even look fat :S ....

you should love the person, the body you should jsut encourage them to work out maybe with you gym memberships or summat but people dont judge .... dont forsake teh cuddly people XD as nicky would say feel the awesome

I've had crushes on plenty of guys that had a little extra weight on them.
I've got a little tummy. I think it makes me gross, but most people say they can't even tell.
Honestly, you are not as fat as you imagine.

Overweight people are my type. Nothing turns me on faster. It's sad, because I'm so thin. But I'd probably take what I can get anyway.

Proportionally large man-boobs are a little weird, though.

I like to stay active, and I think ideally I prefer a fit body. but there's nothing wrong with a little extra here and there... :icon_wink

However, I don't like it when people let themselves go, complain about, and take no action.

That said, my past crushes have been a little on the softer side.

I think there is a difference between
    "I don't like people who are overweight/obese"
    and
"I haven't had an attraction to someone who is overweight/obese (yet)"
    and i haven't, but that doesn't meant i won't/wouldn't.

    I think that's a good point.

I personally just want people, especially people that I care about, to be healthy and that means not excessively thin and not obese. Sure, I find slim guys with six packs sexy, but that's not to say that I'm not attracted to guys that don't have ridiculously defined muscles and aren't super skinny.

i feel really shallow sometimes, but i dont know, i just cant seem to find fat attractive..maybe cause i went through a "round" stage in middle school and i'm still self conscious about my body.

so no worries, the only people that you're missing out on by being a little soggy around the middle are people with deep rooted issues about themselves

My crush for the past several months is a little on the chubby side. I'm kinda glad to know that I was more attracted to his personality than his body proving to me looks ain't everything  Sadly, only YESTERDAY, I finally gathered the courage to add him on Facebook after chickening out several times to discover (what I think I always knew) he's straight and taken! CRAP! So, long story short...a nice bod is GREAT but personality is even BETTER!

I <3 threads like this, just make me more self conscious  (Twas sarcasm..., the loving this type of thread part :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

If I ever manage to lose weight, it won't matter to me, tbh. The only people I don't find attractive are people who are too skinny, I know that sounds weird, but that's me.

Doesn't matter, he could be 700 lbs and 65 years old.

    Pends on the person really.

I really care about weight in the physical sense, but as someone who's passion is food and sports science; unless they have a decent reason as to why they're obese I don't think I could handle dating someone with that kind of attitude to their body.

    P,S
Despite that said, I'm overweight haha

    I'm faaaaaaaaaaaaat.

Not going off of the stupid BMIs here. Because truth is, it just comes to body composition. I'm overweight when you look at my weight-to-height ratio, but that's only because of the weight of the muscle.

To quote Will and Grace: "It's all about bodies. Not even faces. They can be covered by a bag or a nice leather mask."
