I think mostly in pictures. But i do have words in my head to put what i think into the outside world.
As I'm always trying to make things real i am actually more often thinking in words while the real thinking is done in pictures but not as constantly.

    Simply, both.

Actually, it's like an acid trip of combination.

I'm a very visual person, so pictures. But I narrate them to myself (sometimes out loud...).

Both, I guess. But most of the time it's not either, I'm just continually narrating inside my head. I feel like I'm constantly talking to myself inside my own head, and that's about it.

I... Remember pictures of people. Instants frozen in time, together with voices, it's as if I had a huge short film collection inside my head. And it's the same with some dream scenes. If I had ever loved you or dreamed bout you, I'll only need to close my eyes to have a crystal clear picture if you.

I'm not good t remembering physical sensations, but certain smells bring back pictures inside my head. The past is entirely visual, with few words. It's a very visceral, raw thing I'm still trying to explain to myself. The past is a very strange place for me... Yet I'm able to go back there in a second.

The present is made 99% of... Not exactly 'words', but 'concepts' I struggle to explain, never feeling totally satisfied with neither the choice of words nor how useful the language really is.
The funniest thing is that there is particular feelings, sensations... That I can't fully explain by using the three languagesI know. Some day I read a word in russian or japanese and suddenly I'm finally able to express something right.

About the internal monologue, it's obvious... It get sometimes on my nerves in so many ways, 'cuse to me it's not easy to blank my mind, just stop thinking.

I think pretty much always in words, it's actually hard for me to understand how it feels to think in pictures.

Imagine a movie/show playing inside your head, only you have control over it (sometimes). It's basically being a director/editor/fanfiction writer.

I think in pictures, although it's fluid like a movie. I can get consumed to the point where I lose touch with reality (which is fun until people freak out)

That sounds fun, I definitely only think in words... I wonder how the style of thinking effects our cognition, are there any advantages to thinking in images or words?

Pictures. It feels weird for me to think in words, but I can do that too.

Both, but leaning more towards pictures. Whenever I see a diagram to have a concept demonstrated, I'm way more likely to retain the idea than if I saw the same thing in words only.

I think in thoughts, not words, sometimes pictures to visualize.

Words only. =) And often, I happen to think phonetically too which is a bother sometimes. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
