I have to like my voice to some extent, as a teacher, I speak all day and I need people to listen and respect it. And yet I've never cared for my voice much. I've always found it too high-pitched, too nasal, and not able to carry enough volume. That said I have been working on getting the most out of my voice--like many things about me, there's room for improvement :expressionless:

Not really no. My voice sounds like a 10 year old boys, like Little Rascals/Our Gang. It never dropped and I'm 27 now. But what can you do?

I actually hate my voice when I hear it on radio or electronic devices, but then I think that kind of stuff distorts voice, I don't worry too much about the way I sound anymore, I feel like I can do fine with my voice as it basically is just a tool for me to communicate with and I stopped hating my voice, now I just slightly dislike it and I actually did listen to it once and it was an okay sounding voice although it did sound slightly higher than a thought because I believe that my mother lies to me about how deep my voice is.

I hate it, and I think a part of it is because I love guys with those super deep, clear voices - which I do not have. And when I get nervous and talk talking, my voice goes up 8 octaves.

This is something I have had a hard time dealing with. People have made comments to me about my voice. When I can detect their honest inquiry, I usually answer them. If I think there is a ridicule in the context, I just won't answer. It has been a struggle to accept. It is to the point that I don't talk on the phone (talking to my partner on the phone is the only exception to this). My partner does any other phone calls that have to be made.

To answer the question, YES, YES, YES!!! I would change my voice without a second thought.

No, I don't like it. The sound itself I suppose is decent, although I would prefer for it to be less deep. My main problem with it is I have no inflection. Most people have some emotion in their voice, and I don't. It is just flat monotone 100% of the time which people interpret as as either dismissive of what they said, or that I don't care about the conversation enough to not sound bored.

I can even hear it myself when talking to someone who has me on a speaker phone, that echo comes back and my first thought is "who is that and why do they sound so bad" then I realize, oh that was me. I avoid phones whenever possible because I realize how unfortunate the lack of emotion sounds without visual cues to show the person I actually do care about the topic being discussed.

I hate it less than I used to. Could be better, could be worse.

I actually like it because it could be a high male voice or a deep female voice so it scares and confuses people, especially now that I have short hair

I don't like my voice, it sounds too feminine. I can generally pass until i start speaking. I really wish it was deeper.

When I went through puberty, one of the things that upset me the most was that I lost the ability to scream. Wouldn't say it reaches the highs and lows that are so common with gay men, nor is it completely monotone/robotic. I don't speak much, anyway.

I like it pretty well. Could be a bit deeper, but it's good. I'm a tenor.

I hate hearing myself speak. Especially now, since I have a cold.

I don’t, I’m consciously trying to make it sound higher pitched and more feminine and I feel like it really shows. Not to mention it’s hardly ever constant

Ironically I legit just made a post somewhere about this. I personally don't dislike my voice as in the way it sounds, I dislike my accent.

I actually like my voice. I can change inflection, I can speak softly or with authority, high or low. I have a decent range and enjoy “playing” with my voice.

Btw everyone has a slightly higher pitched voice than what you hear when you speak because of the way it hits your ears. Which is why most people don’t like how they sound when they hear themselves recorded.

Yeah but I'm not always crazy about my laugh.
