Hey everyone, I'm trying to see if I'm not the only one who feels this way because based on what society seems to deem "attractive," I would be in the minority. I am attracted to men in shape, as working out is also a big part of my life. While I am attracted to men with muscle, I do not find abs particularly attractive. Quite honestly, if I'm thinking of my dream guy, I would prefer him to not have a six pack.

The image attached is just an example of what I guess I'm talking about. Someone with 15% I would probably find more attractive than the 8%.

How do you all feel about abs?

I agree, maybe because I've never had a 6 pack but I do like some fat. Although I like Arms to have at least some definition, some veins visible ect.

I wish I had abs, but my menz don't need to have a six pack. When the whole dad bod thing broke out a while ago I was like YESSSSS. That's the kind of body I'm attracted to. *drool*

Well yeah. But it's not all about looks. It's a 60% personality and 40% looks.

Yessir, a six pack is always welcome. But I actually like any kind of lean male body type.

My male partner can be however fit/unfit hairly/unhairy he likes as long as it is not a health risk for him. The key is for the sight of me to to turn him on so much that he was wants to undress me right then and there when I kiss him . Oh and he definitely needs to be taller than me . Height more important than abs . Big hands are a plus as well.

Personally I've moved from 20% during stressful times to super lean 6.8% body fat and visible abs when I had time to go the gym and diet and take care of myself, now up to 13% after a bout of depression and eating a lot of sugar, but now finally feeling better and working towards going down below 8% again in the next month or two . And won't mind putting on more muscle mass to burn off the fat faster in the process:slight_smile:

It is very important for my mental comfort to feel that my body is sexy and fit and... hairless.

I never ever want to be top when I'm with a guy (and rarely even with a girl) so maybe that's a factor in my case. "tie me up and/or take me now you glorious savage" is what makes me tick :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.

I'm fine with average looking guys because I'm an average looking guy. For me looks don't even make it to the top five things I'm looking in a guy.

    I would agree here.

A six-pack is a little unrealistic to maintain all the time, and I would be just as happy with a partner who was just generally lean and healthy. Actually I tend to dislike the overboard muscular look like many bodybuilders have.

I'm turned off by overly defined guys. I don't mind if it's slight definition, but I'd rather have a lean look than an overly muscular one.

I personally prefer guys that have some muscle definition, but not too much. While fitness is always good, I still want to be able to comfortably look at them. I suppose I prefer lean bodies over hunks of muscle.

I also dislike it when an otherwise skinny guy has abs. It's rather unnatural-looking and is a real turn-off for me.

Not really. I don't mind lean guys, but I prefer guys who have some chub to them.

I agree with this. For me, some definition is nice, but the type of look that bodybuilders and pro-wrestlers have where you can see all the veins in their face and neck as well as every muscle beneath their skin is a huge turn off.

Then again, when it comes to body types, I'm not really picky as long as they're not extremely overweight/underweight.

they're pleasant to look at at first, until i get intimate with them. it can either be a bit awkward or just weird to feel. i always liked guys who had a bit of extra pounds on them, that's just me

I like them, but they don't have to have ripped abs. I almost prefer guys who are not super-muscular.

Abs are beauts till they get too popping and crazy like on a full on body builder. Not having abs can also look good its more about the generally appealing shape of the person.
