So it's almost summer and loving your body can be hard . So I have some tips for everyone who has self image problems
    1. Look yourself in the mirror and notice how great you look , those lovehandlles awesome ! That gut beautiful !
    2. You are you , you are one of a kind . Your mom Carried you for 9 months ( about) for you to be yourself not for you change your self
    3. Just be you and love you .

I love my scars and my face shape, and the way I look in glasses.

I just need to gain a stone. Then I can have a healthy size 0 (US) body. Too bad they're not looking for 4ft 10 models.

Too bad there's not much weight gain stuff (like weight watchers) on the market.

For me, body confidence is not getting too down about the negative things but accepting it and making positive steps to overcome it.

    oh, this!

my body has been through many changes it’s 30ish years and i have been feeling quite self conscious lately.

thank you for the reminders @Bi and emo

i admire all body types, so it especially confuses me why i am so hard on myself.

My mother calls me fat and told me she hadn't been my weight without being pregnant three times. She doesn't say this stuff to my sister who's fatter than me because she knows my sister would throw a tantrum. My mum lost a ton of weight recently do I just tell her she has no butt, which is true the back of her pants just sag there's nothing to fill them. To lose weight I'd have to give up the food I like and I'm not willing to do that. I gained two stone in one year of college. That's what eating ramen almost every night can do to you.

I think a good way to manage body image is exercise. Even if you're not visibly thin, you will feel fit if you exercise well and regularly. And that's a huge confidence booster, because being unfit is really quite uncomfortable, regardless of weight.

I used to be quite slim when I was younger. And I hated it. But as the time passed I managed to start looking at my body from a different perspective, and the hatred was gone. Now I'm no longer that slim but I'm sure I would still hate my body if I had the same attitude like in the past.
