What are some TV commercials that easily get stuck in your head? There's a local construction company that's had the same jingle for 30 years:

And then there's Medical Weight Loss Clinic, who's recently changed their logo, jingle, and marketing campaign, and the catchy jingle can now only be found on the Internet archive:

    https://web.archive.org/web/20121029110117/http://www.mwlc.com/

Pretty much anyone who grew up around here knows that tune, At Medical Weight Loss, the shape of things to coooooooooooome

And of course, Michigan's most well-known personal injury TV lawyer, Sam Bernstein:

Sam Bernstein's kids now run the law firm and appear in all the commercials, while Sam's blind son, Richard Bernstein, was elected to the Michigan Supreme Court in 2014.

So what about you? What's a commercial that gets easily stuck in your head?

Anyone from the UK must be fed up to the back teeth with that bloody guy from the Go Compare advert.

Another one that literally made me wretch was an advert about a "pedi-egg" or something like that. It featured this egg-shaped electric scraper that was for removing hard skin from feet. It even showed the lady emptying it out into a bin after it was full up with foot-skin. I can still see the powder-like residue that came out of it.

That damned advert has put me off Parmesan cheese for life.

There was a series of Target commercials that were on constantly a few months ago that featured the song by the group Dee-Lite "Groove Is In The Heart". I loved this commercials because this is one of my all time favorite dance songs and then it showed that although this song was popular in the 90's that it sound just as good as any of the dance songs out today.

I'm too out of it to find the links, but they're those late night LIFE commercials for music compilation CDs; like 70s disco rock and late 90s-early 00s Christian contemporary "Songs 4 Worship" songs. You know what I'm talking about.

Oh, and those Magic Bullet commercials from the mid 2000s. I don't know why, but I always got excited to see them show up on my tv guide--don't ask.

One ad from years back for El Paso. They did a number of ads like this IIRC. I hated these ads at the time. In one of those ironic twists of fate that make life so interesting, I later took a community college class taught by a woman who'd been heavily involved in the development of this ad theme...

Also, for anybody else from the Portland area: "Sleep Country USA, Why Buy A Mattress Anywhere Else? *ding*"

Another ads series that really sticks to mind are old Cal Worthington ads. He was a car dealer who apparently had a number of dealerships. Ads on YouTube seem to be from CA, but he had at least one location in WA (Federal Way, IIRC). Not sure why these stick to mind...they don't have a jingle that stuck, but there was something very memorable. (One point: it always mentioned his dog Spot, but the animal pictured was not a dog.)

One RadioShack slogan was something like "You've got questions. We've got answers." I remember one person who told me that he and some others who knew something about electronics liked to crack something like: "And the answer is...WE DON'T KNOW!"

I'm not connected current broadcast TV, and have little contact with radio...but I think we've got the Sleep Country ads up here, too, polluting our air waves...

Any of the Chrysler Pacific commercials like the one below

But that's because of the song which was featured in the movie Drive with Ryan Gosling. I really like the movie.

Sleep Country is no longer in business.

They got bought out by a company called Sleep Train.

"Hi, Barry Scott here asking whether you have problems with limescale, rust and ground-in-dirt. They're a challenge for some household cleaners, but not for Cillit Bang!"

I still remember that commercial after YEARS. People even made techno songs about it

Those commercials (usually trailers) that play on almost every single YT video for a while.
