The only problem I have with urinals is when it sometimes splashes out and gets on me

Don't like them and battle to take a leak when someone stands right next to me... Wish I knew why, it's not like I care if someone sees me naked. I think the word for it over here is "Stage Fright" :eusa_clap

I'd rather use a cubicle but if they're all full or I have a backpack on, I'll gladly use a urinal.

    I'm neutral about urinals.

I don't know why, but strangers ALWAYS try to start up a conversation with me while I'm standing there. Apparently, I'm most approachable while peeing.

I would love to use 1 or at least stand in a cubicle but it'll be years before I have my own gentleman sausage to point at the porcelain
I need to buy a STP device

I can but prefer not to, I find myself using them if no one else is around otherwise I get "stage freight" or absolutely can not start urinating with someone standing near me, and though mostly looking straight ahead at the wall, still can not go. Though I am a bit shy about my penis in public, and I'm also horrified others will think I am trying to look at there's so it causes me too much anxiety.

Not a fan, personally. Too many people, or someone standing too close by, or talking, and I just can't seem to go.

It's not really about peeking, though. It happens just the same when I'm standing next to friends that I have seen naked before.

Personal theory (not backed by any evidence, mind you) is that it's something that evolves naturally. Most animals (humans included) are quite vulnerable when they pee. So they'll try to minimise the risk of being jumped by predators at such a vulnerable moment. People running around or talking probably triggers our subconscious drive to wait just a bit longer until we're fully sure of our environment.

You'd have to pay me a million dollars.

Now, I will preface this by saying - I have "middle school" urinal anxiety.

I think things have changed, but I remember learning in middle school that "you couldn't stand right next to a guy. You had to have a urinal in between."

I of course thought this was stupid. It wasn't a gay thing - I just didn't get it. If i had to pee, I had to PEE.

    So I just gave up.

Occassionally, I will use them. OCCASSIONALLY. AKA - If I am in a really big hurry or there's an emergency.

    I don't mind using urinals...
    BUT I HAVE TO ASK.

why do a lot of guys go pee in the stall even if there is an open urinal? are they just like, afraid for their peen being seen?
