Did anyone see the movie this weekend? I saw it with my mom and older sister. I rate the movie probably 2.75/5 stars. It seemed like a poor man's Terrintino movie just with the amount of violence/killings in the movie and your usual F-bombs thrown in the mix. I just found the film to provide commentary on how race(American Indian and White) and class are intertwined with the drug trade. I mean the film had White and American Indian characters interacting in the drug trade in Colorado. I was unawre of American Indians being involved in the drug trade at all, usally you hear about the Mexican cartels or maybe the occasional black drug dealer or White meth dealer or something. I don't live in Colorado but I don't know if any folks from Colorado could fill in the blanks about the whole drug trade in that state for us. Basically the film was just another film by Liam's usual MO, the revenge dad of killing the bastards that killed or harmed their child.
