I have found a therapist online who I think/hope will benefit me as I navigate my future. He has 28 years of practice experience, and teaches as well. But even more impressive is that he is relationship oriented, having been with his partner (now his husband) for more than 20 years. I’m cautiously optimistic that this is a guy I can relate with, be comfortable discussing myself with, and asking the many questions I have.

old tacoma.....It sounds good and I hope that it does work out. Having a therapist that you can relate to is a very important part of the therapist/client relationship. Keep us updated on how this works out for you...we do care!

Congratulations on finding a therapist who you think you will be able to openly share things with, I hope that things go well.

That's really good to hear. I hope he'll be of great help as you continue to navigate your awakening.
