Yeah, so this was incredibly embarrassing.
I live with a couple of traditionalist parents, and my mother came home this morning and ordered me to get out of the shower while I was shaving my legs.
I had made kind of a mess and she wanted me out in less than 5 minutes.
I didn't have that time, so to cut to the chase, I ended having to tell her that I was shaving my legs.
She asked me in a snarky manner if I wanted to be a girl. (which I do, and they just don't know

*edit (forgot the rest of this thread)
    )

My father was called, and I felt incredibly embarrassed.
Never doing this in the shower again or at least my parent's.
Can't wait till I can move out and do what I want with myself.

    Awkward!
I can relate ... I don't shave my body hair much, but I did a few years ago when I was still living with my parents, but felt I had to hide it. Even though they didn't say anything it was just ... the idea they might think that's not what 'real men do' ... shudder.

Have they moved on from it yet?

My mother's moved on it seems.
But my father has yet to come home from work.
They know barely a thing about me and that's how it's going to be until I move out in a little over a year.

This could be alot worse. Some people get caught self-pleasuring so at least it wasn't that!

I can relate to this. Not transgender but I don't like chest hair so I shave it and trim other places and my parents don't agree with that, they would tell me to stop trying to look like a little boy. I don't know why they cared when it's my body but whatever I guess.

Yea - can confirm this is not fun, my sisters really need to learn how to knock before opening the door.

I know of guys that shave their body hair, they call it "manscaping." I'm assuming you don't want to come out at all, so maybe you could try to play it off like that? Best of luck

Just FYI, if you feel that you need a cover, straight sports guys (such as swimmers, runners and cyclists) regularly shave their leg hair. From that type of perspective, maybe even your parents would let you continue with such behavior....

    Just a thought....

I was going to point out the very same thing Quantumreality did. A friend of mine in high school shaved everything because he was a swimmer.

Shaving hair is something that is normal even among "masculine" men. You could probably explain this to them, but I don't know what they are like.

Ever thought about getting waxed though? It's quicker and it last longer.

Doesn't that hurt really badly though?

Not as bad as laser hair removal. But yeah, it can be quite painful. But it's not lingering.
