OK after a lot of stressing out i decided the best way to go was to write a letter about how i feel and leave it in a place my dad can find it when my mom isn't around.

After like 10 agonizing minutes of anxiously waiting he knocked on my door and said he loves me and said i was a brave boy and i just... i'm so happy he accepted me!

Just gotta worry about coming out to my mom now about being trans but yay!

You are very brave and you have a cool dad.

I hope it goes as well with your mother.

Nice going - I'm so happy he was supportive of you. Hope your family will be a source of help in your transition.

Update 2 came out to my mom as trans... it didn't go so well. She said she didn't want to talk to me about it until she had some time to think about it and said i should never sign letter (i came out by writing a letter since i didn't have the nerve to talk about it) as "your loving son" and instead i should have said "your loving (name)"

... Feeling a bit disheartened and very anxious now.
