I wasn't sure where to put this so I'll put it here. On the 2nd to 4th August 2019, Brighton has its Pride weekend. Being the gayest town in Britain, it will be a fab weekend. I was thinking of going so if anyone who lives in the UK or is just around at the time would like to go, it's a great opportunity to mix with loads of people who understand AND have a knockout time! Let me know your thoughts.

It's a long time since I last went to Brighton Pride, but it was a great day and I would highly recommend. A group of us made the journey south.

Doubt I will get there next year, but hoping to go to London Pride to represent my employer with other LGBT colleagues.

Just a polite reminder that personal details and meet ups cannot be exchanged/arranged in this thread or any part of the public forum without violating the Code of Conduct.

No, that's fine. I will be going so if anyone else is it would be nice to know. If it's better to remove the post, I quite understand!

Looking forward to it! I think going should be a great experience for anyone just in the process of coming out.

I'm definitely considering it for 2019, I would either go to London or Brighton pride....I would hopefully go with a few friends from one of my LGBT groups I attend. I'm sure it would be very empowering....

I'm told Brighton is something special. And it's the sea side!

Brighton is better than London, in my opinion anyway. Not that London is bad.

I've never even been to Brighton! Can't wait but it's not until August. I may pay a visit before that to try the bars.

I love Brighton I’ve never been during pride. My family went to Brighton a couple of times a year when i was a kid and we lived in England. Now I’m a plane ride away, I go for the rides and the arcade.

I lived in Brighton for three years, used to be in the flats above R-Bar so was amazing when the street party was on! Amazing city, miss it lots. I’m not sure if i’ll go as I gave up drinking last year, might consider it. Personally though, i think Manchester has the best Pride of all the ones i’ve been too.
