I was just trying to think of a nickname for my boyfriend and thought i'd see what other people called the boyfriend for inspiration
You could call him something like , Teddy bear Honey Babe Baby Munchkin Big boy The love of my life My sweet Cutie Sweet ass .... And so forth
You know, this is actually kind of a hard question. Mostly it depends on how things develop between you and your boyfriend. You pretty much can't have a pre-set 'pet name' for him. That kinda defeats the purpose. Personally, I tend to like the trending "bae" name because it's basically 'babe' without being too effeminate. But I would never directly apply it to a boyfriend until/unless it actually seemed "right." In my experience, the best pet names come from a significant moment in a couples' common experience.
"I shall call him 'Squishy' and he shall be mine. He shall be my 'Squishy'". Dory came up with a memorable one there. Other pop culture names I can think of are: Googly-Bear and Schmoopsie-Poo (but I wouldn't recommend those), also Sweet Babboo from Peanuts.
