Hmmm well I came out as a lesbian but ended up marrying a guy, so people were just more confused than anything.

Hi, chat away. Ive know I was bi since I was 15. Started coming out to friends late 16 and 17. Still not out to family. For along time that's how I thought it was for bisexuals because of the bias, (you just kept quite).

Coming out reactions haven't ever been harsh for me with friends. Some silly questions but I've mostly been in a very liberal circle of friends. The worst reactions have been in the LGBT community and that's mostly been some cold shoulder, or stereotypeing.

Had a guy friend that would get jealous that more girls would flirt with me than him.

I'm not bisexual, but I'm pretty darn close.

Most people were ok about me being bisexual, though some were very surprised as apparently I "looked straight". Not anymore haha.

My parents were a bit more reluctant to believe me, though I did eventually manage to convince them that bisexuality was real. Now my dad doesn't question it, but my mum still does unfortunately.

Honestly, I just realised I was bi. Soon 14 years old, so, yeah.. Though I've already told my best friends... and one of them ended up coming out to me as bi too!

I just realised I was bi. In 14. I am going to come out soon to a friend. But, I'm very masculine, so I can't find a boy that will like me back most likely, which is a shame since I like them more.

    Hi there!

I've known I was bi for a couple of years! It's one of my secrets, though - not because I'm ashamed of my orientation, but because I don't want to be treated differently because of it. I only tell people whom I trust not to act weirdly around me when they find out, I guess.

So far, those people are my Mum, my sister, some old friends that I don't really speak to anymore, a few of my online friends, and all of you!

    Hi, bi guy here.

I've only been out for about a year and a half, but only to select people. I can't say that I've been treated poorly since coming out, though I've heard comments from friends/family about 'picking a side'. I honestly encounter more biphobia from the LG community at times. :/ Fortunately my mom, boyfriend, friend and therapist have all been really supportive.

i was 13 when i realized i was bi...i thought for a while i was in some kind of denial to myself about not wanting to be fully gay or something but as the years went on i still find myself attracted to women. I've never actually been in a relationship with a guy that wasn't just a fwb situation. It's weird that i'm not really that interested in a romantic relationship with men, just women. There was only one guy that i would of wanted one with but that was 10 years ago and he's long gone

Hi there. I realized I was bi later due to pushing away my feelings. I had my first same gender crush at 13, but brushed it off as a 'friend crush'. I then started really questioning at 16 and made excuses for that.

I didn't finally start really accepting the reality of being bi until about a year ago.

    Hi, bisexual female here!!

I guess I've been bi for as long as I can remember but it wasn't till I was 13 when I realized it. I had a crush on a friend(female) in 4th-6th grade but at the time I didn't really think much of it. We used to experiment a bit throughout elementary school but I dismissed it as puberty and both of us being curious at the time. She ended up coming out to me as bisexual when we were 13.

It wasn't till 8th grade that I had a crush on a guy. I had mostly crushes on guys since then with the exception of one other girl. I stayed in denial about my sexuality through most of high school. I'm a senior now and still only out to a few, although no longer in denial. I'm sexually attracted to both male/female but I feel like I could have better serious relationships with the same sex.

Welcome to EC! I hope you have a good time here and make some new friends.

Count me in as a member of the awesome bisexual club! I didn't realize I was bi until I was 24, pretty much. I was late to the party! Second year anniversary of discovering my bisexuality, just passed.

Feel free to talk to me anytime as well!:icon_bigg

When i first came out to my mum in late 2015 she said it was just a phase but when i came out to all of my friends AND got a BF (who i love very much) she then apologized for saying it's just a phase (that might have had something to do with the fact it was 11 at night when i came out and she was getting pretty tired)
