for Halloween i dressed up as a boy...because i wanted to look like one. Well I never really had any dysphoria with my upstairs like how I have a bunch with my downstairs. Well I binded my chest (probably wrong) for the outfit.... and now I have dysphoria with my boobs. Great. Any advice? I don't even know if im trans or whatever. I'm just vatgyffhfauihuahfhfaafa
First, please invest in a proper binder if you do not have one. Under Binding Resources, you can find sites where you can buy a proper binder and other information regarding chest binding and how to do it safely there. One company many trans people recommend is GC2B, I personally find theirs to be the most comfortable. Though remember to bind safely and for no more than 8 hours a day. If you need an alternative, sports bras also work for binding. When questioning your gender, take your time and explore your identity and how you want to be perceived. If you're in a safe place, you can always experiment with strangers using your preferred name and pronouns. If you have supportive friends and/or family you can also experiment with them. If you're able to, I also recommend speaking with a therapist and/or counselor to help you navigate these thoughts as well.
