I'm not sure why you had to get so anatagonistic. My response was purely directed at your comment that people don't know their own minds. That's false and is not true.

Well, if you understood how the unconscious works, then you'd realize that very often, people's conscious beliefs and behaviors are entirely different than their unconscious beliefs. So very often, what someone says about who they are or what they believe consciously is in complete conflict with who they really are. And not always, but often, the angry "How dare you" sort of response is an indicator that there's a pretty major conflict between conscious and unconscious.

BTW: aren't "false" and "not true" redundant?

This is obviously fruitless. I'm not going to continue to try to defend something that doesn't need defending. Signing off this thread. Hope the OP found some support.

Strangely, the more time I spend on this site, the less bi I feel. I now think I’m close to straight. Not completely of course, but not nearly as gay as I thought I was

I've had the opposite happen to me. It comes in waves of course, I'm feel "straigher" today, (is that even a word?) but I still feel like my interest in women is elevated. I feel like I've been becoming more gay.

Oh, it's not your fault. So many discussion of bisexuality end with people disagreeing unfortunately. It has nothing to do with you.

Well this is odd. For no real reason? Isn’t the entire thread because of this reason? The OP calling his own sexuality into question is why this thread exists. You framed this like people are questioning someone who’s secure/sure which isn’t the case. I don’t see anything wrong with doing exactly OP asked, which is giving advice and perspective on the possible scenarios that could be happening to him.

As I wrote before. I'm a militant bisexual and I'm with Bicchi on this. Chip has a lot of insight and if you read all of the posts the OP has made on this thread and on others, I think the questions Chip posed are spot on.

To the OP. This is your thread and I apologize for the sidetrack.

I've noticed in your other threads that you continue to ask about gay men in straight relationships.

There are a number of gay guys on these boards who have experienced it. But, I think you need to level with us and really open up with what is going on with you that you are asking these questions.

Hello. I voted bi, because you've stated numerous times that your attraction to women isn't going anywhere. And to me, it sounds like you're impatient to try things with another man, which sounds like a description of someone who is bisexual.

However, if you find your desires towards women diminishing steadily to the point of indifference for a long time, then perhaps you should consider the gay option.

    Good luck with that.

Chip is right. If there is something I've recently learned thanks to my psychologist it's that's what below the conscious can be very different than what you think... This is of course not only the case concerning bisexuality but concerning all kinds of stuff in your life. And sometimes if you're upset and write things down very quickly the unconscious takes over. That does not mean the OP is definitely gay. I think a psychologist could help clear things out.
