BE HONEST: Does race matter when dating?

I don't think it's racist as you said they are preferences .

But for me I don't care about the skin color ; I have a very veeeeery long list for other things .

 

No, it doesn't matter to me. I'd like to think that I'd give everyone an equal chance.

 

For me, the circumstances of one's birth don't matter too much. I just like guys, from twinks to bears, from one end of the melanin spectrum to the other. I find most things about men attractive, and don't have a strong preference. My only concern with a guy is his personality, all the good looks in the world can't save someone who's a major asshole. I could care less whether he's black, white, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Slavic, etc.

 

Same here. I look on the human not on the skin color.

 

Nope, not for me. I've had crushes on boys from Korea, India, Trinidad, Brazil, Italy, Finland...all over, when I come to think of it, who I might have dated, before I settled down with my mate. I think many people probably have fairly diverse tastes.

 

I prefer the nordic type.

 

to me, not really. i noticed a lot of guys have their own tastes. i sometimes tend to think that guys wouldn't really approach me because they're racist and just don't think i'm not the perfect Greek Adonis God. If not, they just usually tell me that there were other spanish guys for me to talk to so i could be comfortable..... i guess it depends on who you talk to . i don't think the color of my skin makes it a bit difficult.

 

Well, obviously matters to some people - like you said you have a preference for White and Asian individuals.

What can occasionally be an issue is outright refusal to date a person of "x" race. But the percentage of people who think that way is going ever further down, as those thoughts become outdated and slowly die out.

 

Nope skin color is the last thing on my mind because we are all human first. To be honest if we can connect that's all that matters.

Yep, I like white guys and black girls. Ironic when I think about it I myself am of hispanic origin, but I still consider myself to be white because of all the other ethnicities I have inside me lol. My skin tone is reminiscent of Italian but it can get really pale when I'm not in the sun.

 

I tend to be more attracted to blondes, but I can be attracted to anyone if I I like their personality.

 

It doesn't matter to me.

 

I do have preferences I guess, but it doesn't mean much. There are beautiful people from all walks of life. And it's human to have some preferences, just don't make that the underlying reason why you date or reject someone.

 

I have preferences for features that often fall along "racial" lines but it's only the features that I like, not the "race."
