Korra's been renewed for a "second" season.

I assume whoever wrote the article just doesn't know the fact the books are seasons, xD

Which means Korra's been renewed for a season 3 and possibly a season 4.

 

I've been seeing this on Tumblr all day. XD I'm SOOOO excited. I was a bit disappointed that we were only going to get 14 more episodes, but when I found out that Nick ordered over 50 more, I was just like this:

 

Woot! I still don't understand how they thought it would only be a season, but yay xD

 

I hope they get rid of the love triangle soon!(!) I love this series so much!

 

Have watched it online. Like it alot!
Cant wait for the next season!

 

I think they did with the final episode. I mean Korra and Mako kissing after she regained her bending, I dunno just to me seemed like that ended the triangle.

Also Book 2 I guess is part of Season 1. While they've ordered 26 episodes for a second season which will likely be Book Three and Four.

 

They just made it more complicated IMO. What are they gonna do with Asami now? It's too soon to be over. And to be honest, I hate that pair very very much. I think the series would have been way better if there's no love involved. It bores me to no end.

 

Lol. Hmm on a diff note just realized Tim posted already about the second season, my bad.

 

At first I didn't like Legend of Korra. But I was really surprised by the plot, although I think it was really, really slow. I wish it was written slightly better. I'm happy that there's more coming, perhaps they fix the mistakes they did with the first book

I wish we had gotten Jinora instead of Tenzin, even if it didn't make sense. xD And I wish they had included Suki. ._.

Anyway, Bumi's been bumped up to series regular, apparently, Kya will also be making regular appearances.

 

Ok first, I'm so jealous you got their signatures >_<
Two, glad Bumi got bumped, just from the first few minutes he reminds me of the original Bumi and I know I'll laugh a lot.

I feel so bad for Asami. I don't anyone realizes how much more her life sucks than anyone else's.
1. Her mom is murdered.
2. She finds out her Dad is an equalist leader.
3. She leaves her family to go on the run all for some guy.
4. That guy cheats on her.
5. Her father fights her and disowns her, forcing her to fight him.
6. That guy dumps her for someone else.

Seriously.

 

Yeah...she...really is strong to be able to have dealt with all that so far...

 

It looks awesome. ITS A GIRL!

 

I am not a fan of Mako/Korra, and really don't like how hard the writers are pushing that pairing. Mako doesn't really have a personality, and most of what personality he does have is douchiness. Of course, they pushed Aang/Katara in ATLA which also make no sense, but at least there Katara was a cool person.

 

^Disagree. I thought Aang and Katara's relationship was developed quite well, while I feel Mako and Korra's was like, OK LET'S KISS!

 

I could rant all day about the love triangle i really hate how much drama was in Korra... i loved how ATLA had a bunch of different emotions (not just 'oh i love you! wait, no i love you!') and how it really had depth and struggle and growth. Korra? i just feel like there isn't any of that. Makes me sad... i think everyone could use a backstory, personally But, yeah, looking forward to those new seasons!

 

This show is literallymy life.

 

True though on thinking about it, I really believe the reason was because the series was created and written before it was confirmed for a Book Two. So they were trying to cram everything into 12 episodes, and when it turned out extremely popular just like ATLA (if albeit a little less...I think, not sure, need to compare the ratings) and Book Two (and now Three and Four) was confirmed, it's like...okay so we did that, we can't really change it all over to give more development so let's just go with what we have.

I think that might be a possible reason for the rushed oh I love you, no i love you, that was throughout the twelve episodes...
