"auto" advance when viewing pics in albums

    Much as I am loathe to suggest a change that makes anywhere more Facebook-like, I have to admit I really find the thing where in a Facebook album, if you click on the picture you're viewing, the next picture in the album appears really useful. So I thought I would suggest that as an enhancement of albums here at EC.

    People's pictures are usually pretty big, especially compared to the often tiny "next" and "prev" links there currently are for navigating through people's albums. So usability-wise, going through someone's album by clicking on every image to get to the subsequent image is a lot easier than having to target the "next" links.

    I would love to see this feature become available to us.

    Or enable us to scroll through images using the arrow keys on our keyboards. :slight_smile: If it can be done, that is.

    Yes, I agree. That would vastly improve the usability of the albums.

    This would be a good addition imo.
    on a side note seeing that the pics are so big, would it hurt being able to have it show the description appear above the picture?

    I only just noticed the thing George said about arrow keys, which could be a good idea too. I have seen it done before, but not sure where...
