are you in the closet or out the closet

I'm out to close friends and family. More are finding out or figuring it out

 

Mostly in the closet. I'm out to a select few friends.

 

I'm not out to anyone sadly

 

I think I'm sort of peeping around the door with one leg hovering out. There are a couple of people I have confided in to a degree both about my sexuality and my gender identity. On top of that I'm mostly open about things at work, I'm just not sure if they fully believe me!!.
Also in regards to other friends I've hinted at or done things that should make them wonder but they haven't said or asked anything. As for family I haven't indicated anything and if they suspect anything then they've kept quiet.

 

I'm out to a pretty decent chunk of my family and also my close friends. I hope I'll be able to be out to everyone soon though.

Out to those I care enough about to even tell them anything about me as a private person. That’s mostly family and friends and some closer acquaintances because in the case of the latter I don’t care if they know or don't so I might casually reveal it in conversations with them. It’s rather funny when some don’t know if they have heard correctly and feel the need to ask awkwardly “So you are actually….well… gay?” again and I have to confirm it for them then.

 

Pretty much "in."

Some people here and there know, but all but one person is someone I very casually know at most.

Although I do wonder if it would be a big surprise to very many if I came out. I've wondered if some people haven't wondered simply because I've been outspoken around them about LGBT issues.

 

Out to family and a few friends, out on Facebook profile, pretty much coming out very casually .

 

I consider myself out. I directly came out to friends and the members of my family that matter. I’m fine with other people knowing and will talk about it openly if that’s where the conversation goes.
I don’t “look gay” though so not everyone I interact with knows, but they really don’t need to.

 

Out to some friends, and when I was in school I was out to some of the people at my school. Not out to family and not out at work. It was challenging to choose between "some" and a "few" on my profile on EC because of this, but then I thought about how many people I went to school with and realized it definitely wasn't a "few."

 

I'm out to everybody except extended family. I think I might casually bring up it up with my mom's side soon ish. It's just so freeing being out that I can't stay partially in anymore lol

 

Kind of both. I don't hide it all because there's really nobody I need to keep it a secret from except my father who lives very far away anyway. If people ask I have no problem telling them, I just also don't go out of my way to tell people either because I don't see a need to. A few random people around town have said general joking things like "what are you gay or something" as a joke and I just say yeah and go back to whatever I was doing. It's funny watching the confused look on their face as they try to figure out whether I was serious or not.

Oh and about 500 gay guys have my picture from one of those gay app things so yeah, 500+ people is probably considered pretty out.

 

As much as I would love to proudly say that I am fully out of the closet, I cannot. I am out to a couple of friends and people I know. That's about it though.

 

Few people know. Since it was kind of long time ago, they might've forgotten that I'm not straight.
Since then I never bothered to come out to anyone because it made no real difference
I'm worried that they might use that to take advantage of me.
