I'm perfectly content with being alone, and I agree with you on the part where being alone is a daily necessity. i do find social interactions fun at times but i'll get exhausted rather quickly.

Having too much of one or the other can be draining. Being alone 24/7 suxs, but I wouldn't mind having company..as long as they're good company of course

Isolation is my ultimate solitude. No matter where I am, or what I'm doing; there is always a calm shallow pool in my mind. Lonely to share this wonderful place by myself, but that doesn't diminish the wonder of it all. Tl;DU I find solitude in my mind despite the surroundings I'm in however because of this I'm still rather lonely.

I am content to be alone. I find I don't need people around me. I like the peacefulness of being alone. Whether I'm just watching tv or reading a book.

Yes. I like my alone time but at the same time I also crave a human connection and it sucks when I'm alone for days at a time. Makes me worry sometimes about the future.

I feel lonely and alone all the time, but I don't like being alone.

I'm pretty social and like being around people.

I am almost always alone, and for the most part I like it or am at least content with it. I always hate hearing about the "lone wolf" terrorists or school shooters are described as "weird loners who keep to themselves". That describes me perfectly.

This, exactly. I've had to accept or learn how to be content with being alone. I don't mind it sometimes, but it does start to... wear on you after a while.

What you just described is like... a big part of the definition of an introvert.

A lot of people think it means you are shy or don't like people, but that's a very common misconception. Being an introvert means you get energy and peace from solitude.

    Look at this handy chart:

I'm kinda at a weird spot right now. Sometimes it seems like everybody wants to hang out with me and afterwards I feel so socially drained I just want to go home (probably 3 Hangouts a week maximum).

Thursday I did school work with a friend all day, and since then I haven't talked to anybody face to face besides my mom, and have to admit I'm lonely af. I used to be a lot better at not feeling lonely after such a short time.

I'm an introvert by nature, so sometimes I get overwhelmed if I haven't had any time to myself for a while. I don't have many friends but I don't need many. If I feel the need to talk to someone, it's usually just one or two people. I don't like crowds.

Being alone 24/7 has always been my preference. I love when my wife stays the weekend at her parents' place either to visit them or dog sit. That gives me an average of 4 days straight where I am completely alone. It's bliss. I don't have to look at, speak to, or even acknowledge anyone. Those are the best times of my life.
