I hate that there are so many conservatives in this country. If it weren't for the far right "Christians", imagine the progress this country could achieve.

Gotta say I love it. There are some problems to be fixed for sure and it will happen.

America is a continent, not a country. And what a great continent it is so I def not hate it! Assuming OP refers to the USA, I still say no. I don't hate any country as that is just childish.

In the English-speaking world, it certainly isn't. North and South America collectively are referred to as 'the Americas'. America is always in reference to the US - and only a pedant would argue otherwise.

No, and I never hated it. I've got relatives there and they are fine.

If you are not happy, then go live elsewhere. USA is not for everyone.

As a german sticker says 'Somewhere else is also shitty'.

It's OK, and certainly has a lot of interesting aspects...but it tends to be a rather stingy, selfish place...I think that greed will be its downfall, and will take the world down with it.

I know what you mean. A lot of people in America, especially in the southern United States are incredibly closed minded an not open to giving LGBT+ (and women in general) basic human rights. This is the most aggravating part about living in America for me, especially since creating change has been incredibly difficult and is such a long process. We have a long way to go.

I'm not too fond of the politicians that try to run it.

In such a large country, there are bound to be aspects we love and hate about America.

I would rather be here than in North Korea, but I am not proud to be from a country that originally got its land using genocide.

I'd love to live in America. In fact, I'd go as far to say that it's one of my aims in life! Maybe I feel differently because I'm a foreigner, but even so it looks like a great country to live in. The cities & houses are stunning.

It's a little bit culturally behind other first world countries in some aspects, but it's still a much better place to live than the vast majority of the planet.

Sorry, but it's an illusion. This whole thing over here, it's being propped up artificially, and the entire world is suffering as a result. It's probably in its last throes right now though, not too much longer, before things get real again.

There are a handful of cities that have held up well, they are the ones foreigners are probably most familiar with and likely to visit. But most others have really rotted out from the inside, shells of their former selves.

There may be some nice suburban areas at the moment, as wealth has really flowed out to them for the last 60 years, but that's all fragile, it's ultimately unsustainable, and it will crash (AGAIN) in the not too distant future.

Beneath a seemingly decent veneer, the USA is a mess on so many levels.

I hate the USA for all the abuse, bullies and death that happens to people. The GLBTQ community gets so much hell that it breaks my heart to sobbing tears. I know violence is everywhere but I wish I could find just one peaceful place to live and just be,with no drama and no heartache.

George W Bush, the Kardashian's, Donald Trump. Should I even keep going?
