When Ijoked about shaving my legs my mom said "Gay I can handle but I'm not letting you borrow my red pumps!" Then my stepdad goes on a rant about how trans people and anything not cis being the bane of America. So I'm pretty sure that being anything but cis isnt going to fly in my home.

That must be horrible for you. I didn’t start exploring my feeling properly until I moved out but even now I can’t explore as much as I’d like as I’m married and even though my wife knows I’m gender fluid I still find it hard to “be myself “ around her.

I think we live in a slightly similar situation, but you are accepted. I feel like I can be myself only amongst my small group of friends at school, one of these friends is actually trans and I plan on talking to him about it. I wish I could help you more than dumb messages and stories

It’s good to here that you have a group of friends that you can be yourself around and i think it’ll be good for you to talk to your trans friend. Your messages and stories aren’t dumb, talking things through is the best thing we can do .

I suppose that I jumped the gun in that respect. I believe we've exhausted this topic so I'll shift the subject slightly. When did you first start questioning your gender? Did you do any experimentation, if so, what kind of expiramentation?

I guess I started when I was 13/14 ish, i know I liked the look of women’s clothing and always thought why can’t men wear such nice things. Then I tried a skirt on once and thought hey this feels kinda right. The years went by and I tried to push the thoughts out as I thought it was wrong to feel the way I did. Then about 5/6 years ago I started dressing again in private and the feeling just kept growing until I thought this is not just me liking to cross dress this is something more then that something deep inside me. How about you?

Same here, androgyny seems to be a happy meeting place for my nature and nurture to meet each other. It's the label I am most comfortable with. Being pregnant was the weirdest experience of my life.

For a while a couple years ago I had long hair, went to my shoulders and I was kinda fat so I had appeared to be a girl. I was called miss and the like and it kinda felt nice. The only thing I've done that can he consifered experimentation is I roleplayed as a girl in a lot of forums and game

I had long hair when I was 15/16 and I was called miss a couple of times and that felt good to me and I’ll always remember it. What sort of roleplay games did/do you play?

I mostly play DnD now but I used to be big on text based rpgs online. I've forgotten the names of all of those games but one, and it's the kind that you don't share. You know the ones

I’m actually the complete opposite as you see I was born a female and I’m leaning more towards to being a male (transgender) so I get you!

I'm old enough to remember playing paper and pencil RPGs! Gamma World was a favorite (and incidentally, the guy I used to play with, was my first sexual encounter/ same sex "boyfriend" (to me anyway: I had a huge crush on him). Now that I think of it, I often wanted to play as the pre made female PC, a half strain mutated tiger/ human named I think Raa. I also sometimes made custom female PCs, but never thought anything of it at the time.

That’s cool I haven’t played DND for a very long time. I’m more of a board game gamer then RPG but I like the odd RPG on the Xbox every now and again.
