I remember having a blast with SimCity 2000(?) way back; I loved making crazy cities only to play with 'god mode' and terrorize them with volcanoes, alien invasions, etc. I have generally liked the games actually, but I particularly remember loving that one.

My cousin and I used to play The Sims 2 on my PS2 a long while back. I don't know where it went, but I'd assume it's long gone now. I'd invest in the series, but my laptop isn't strong enough to run games anymore (at least to me) and the most recent console I have is the Wii and I doubt anything would run on my Windows phone or Kindle Fire.

I remember (I think in 2012) my brother got The Sims 3, along with the Showtime expansion pack. This led to my obsession which took over my life for the next few years and my collection of every expansion pack and most of the stuff packs.
I also got The Sims 4 about a month or two after it came out, but I never enjoyed that one as much. At that point I was running out of ideas of what to do in sims. The endless possibilities are seeming to come to an end for me.
I have tried to start a Legacy Challenge in Sims 3 to get back into the game, but that sort of failed when my laptop decided I had 5 minutes before it would automatically restart and update while I was about half-way through creating my founder.
And, of course, I still haven't gone back to it even though I did save that half-finished sim into my bin. I should really get to that some time soon.

The most of the people know The Sims and Maxis (another reason of why I hate you, EA). But, does anybody really know how many Sims games there are? Aside from the main games (Sims and SimCity), there are a lot of games that are part of the Sims franchise, like: Sim Tower, Sim Earth, Sim Ant, Sim Life, Sim Farm, Sim Health, Sim Isle, Sim Town, Sim Park, Sim Copter, Sim Golf and Sim Animal. Whoever knew every game should have been Maxis president.
