Very cool. I work with the signal display of vintage signals we have at our museum. I’m a one man signal display department right now.

When I first read this, I thought we were talking about the band train.

Anyways that’s pretty cool. We do have this old vintage train set from the 1940s. We don’t really use it because the trains don’t really stay on track.

Yeah I work with the local railroad museum and collect railroad antiques so I like train. I only vaguely, remotely remember hearing of a band called Train, so I know nothing about it. I just like railroad stuff and have my whole life.

That’s cool. Have you ridden any trains? What about trains and their history interests you?

I've ridden a few trains and seen some old shells of trains out of service. What interests me is how they work and the expansion of the railways back then

Wouldn't say that I'm into trains in general, but I have an interest in metro/subway/underground (or however you call it) systems. When I visit a city that has a metro system I always go and try it, and compare it to the other ones I've used before, and also learn some history about it. I had some paper models of metro trains (but unfortunately I lost them few years ago) and once I even wrote a fantasy story about a magical metro system that connects different worlds . Metro is also my favorite way of public transport, and before moving to a different city because of the university, I used it in my home city (Prague) almost daily to get around. Nowadays I use regular trains more often, since when I go back home for a weekend or visit some friends from different cities, I always travel by train. It's fast and very comfortable (unless there are delays) and also very cheap for me (there's a 75% discount for students). So yeah, trains are cool.
