    For me the map appears then the little markers appear a second or two later. If you're on a slow connection you may have to wait several seconds for them to start appearing.

    Language barrier? Having just been to Paris and thinking I could speak French, I could appreciate not gravitating to online environments where the language wasn't my first one.

    Yeah it took me a little bit to work out too becky and I fiddle around with this kind of code all the time.

    You could add in a bit of text saying that you need to link it to a .jpg etc image Paul, just go to the language file and ctrl+f "URL for your Image" (can't remember what it said) then just add afterwards "please link to .jpg only".

    Of course ya dont have to, its just added work.

    It's broken again for me... not showing anyone's markers and listing 0 of them.

    I'll have another look at it later, but I think it may be best to just get rid of it. It seems to be unreliable and the developer is no longer around.

    It looks like it has messed up the database table which stores the map points. :frowning2:

    I have turned it off while I'm investigating. Most of the entries in its database table are trashed. I am trying to find if this is a known problem and if there is a known fix for it. If it is fixable (which is looking unlikely) it would have to start again with no markers.

    Most likely it will be removed and I'll look for another map add-on some other time.

    Sorry everyone, but the GoogleMap thing is history. I have found loads of posts with people having all sorts of problems with it (including the ones we had) but no useful posts about making it work properly.

    So it is clearly bug-ridden and not worth persisting with.
