If this is in the wrong section I'm sorry, I had no idea where to stick it So I'm going back to school in two days, and as I'm going to be open about both my pansexual and androgynous-ness this year, as over the summer much reflecting has finally helped me discover both my sexuality and gender identity. I want to start using a nickname that isn't er, gender-specific. I can't think of something to save my life, so I thought I'd ask you guys I'm okay with wierd names, I'd really like it to be unique,(&&&) and I'd prefer them to be short. My birth name's Margaret, but it doesn't have to be at all like connected to that.
Firstly, congratulations on coming out!!!! Here are some names I found on Google: Nicknames: Ash, Charlie, Jo, Kit, Kris, Lee, Mel, Vic. Actual names: Alex, Angel, Morgan, Taylor. Hope this helps!! (*hug*)
OH! I LOVE Alex!!!! Haha, honorary Wizards of Waverly freak over here I'm definitley going to go by that from now on, I'm so in love with that name! Thank you guys so SO much! I can't believe I didn't think of that, haha. And thank you for your best wishes in coming out
Hey! Moved your thread here to Gender support and advice. I've been pretty curious on androgynous names myself, so I think we'll both see this thread useful together ^^ ---------- Post added 22nd Aug 2015 at 09:42 PM ---------- Hm.. I'm really liking that one.
Sam Kat Aaron/Erin Anything consisting of initials Bean (honest. This was the nickname of one of my brother's friends growing up) Jo This is fun!
JJ, CJ, TJ etc. Names based in appearance, eg Spike, Ginger, Shortie. Kit, Kidd, Kip, Ronnie, Rowan, Paris, Taylor, Quincy, Billie, Danny, August. I used to know someone whose nickname was Rhubarb (???) Going by your surname.
Initials, or just a weird nickname like Rhubarb ^ some of my friends call me Gin or Laurie Chris Sam Oz?
There is a lot of variations with Ash too. Off of the top of my head, I can think of Ashton and Asher.
I like the name Alex! Also, if you have another initial (middle or last name), you could do M[insert initial here]. Initials generally are pretty neutral, and make good nicknames in my opinion.
