That sounds like a bra size!

Curious, though looking at the way it's set up, I can't say I find it very appealing, especially the attraction categories, such as 'F', as if anyone really fits that. Could be improved. But I'd say I'm an E6, if I was forced at gunpoint to use such a scale!

Haha, the number in a bra size usually ranges from 28 - 42, not numbers like 4 or 5 :roflmao:

    I feel like a D3.
    I'm happy with that
I like it better than Kinsey tbh.

This is interesting. So I'd be an E6, I suppose.

It's nice to see different ways of showing how people experience sexuality differently. Personally, I'd just like to see a more extended sexuality scale. (I don't feel like 1-6 quite covers it I guess? Like technically, I only find women sexually attractive. I don't feel it for men whatsoever. But I can be really attracted to certain situations or the right words under the right circumstances and places and times, and it's all very hard to have happen, but I could potentially be turned on by a guy in these circumstances; it's happened maybe twice. I still don't find the guy attractive sexually, but I am turned on, and would maybe even fool around if I could make sure the pleasure is focused on me and I don't gotta deal with their genitals and gender much lmao. Some people say this would be like a 5 on the Kinsey scale, because it's a situational interest in the opposite sex, but others say 5 is more of a "I definitely prefer women, but sometimes guys are hot too" which doesn't apply to me at all. So I stick with 6, but I think it's more complicated than that, you know?)

This chart isn't the best for transgender people due to the terminology it uses, but I'd be either D1 or E1 going by physical sex.

I agree that this chart, at best, needs work. The nuances between sex and gender are quite important, especially in the trans community.

Personally, I don't like this chart because it mixes sexual orientation with "romantic orientation" and then tries to pretend it's only meant to replace the SEXUAL ORIENTATION Kinsey scale. You can always add more data to a scale and over complicate it (not that human sexuality is anything but simple), but sometimes simplicity is needed. And the Kinsey scale can be quite accurate since it has an infinite number of points between "gay" and "straight."

What's next? A scale that also considers whether you prefer "kinky" or "vanilla" sex?

This is definitely a better alternative to the Kinsey scale

Hmmmm, this is interesting. I think it could be more accurate for some than the Kinsey scale. I think I would be an E4 or 5...

    I would call myself E5.

There is a 2 axis chart now, maybe someone will come up with a third, and we can have a 3 dimensional sexuality scale.
