    An American Baptist preacher by the name of Steven Anderson will be visiting my country of Jamaica to promote some lovely liberal western democratic values.

    If you don't know who he is here is an introduction:



    He believes that homosexuals should be put to death according to the Law of Moses and advocates for government sponsored killing of gay people.

    I've come across that nutter before. He is just full of hate.
    He believes that women should be subservient to men and that the world is only 6000 years old!
    Best thing to do is to get the media to laugh at all his daft ideas.

    Seruously tho, I don't get how this guy can possibly have any followers with the absolute idiocy and hypocrisy he spouts. Christians are supposed to love all people, and yet he spouts hate messages. Idiots like this make me ashamed to be a Christian. (And yes, I do realise that I am spouting my own form of hate, but my reasoning isn't based off of a few bible verses that may or may not condemn homosexuality as a sin, and I'm going off on a tangent here, and I don't have enough information to argue that anyway.)

    Oh yeah, I remember this scumbag. He's nicknamed the "Hitler pastor" for a fair reason.
    He really belongs in an insane asylum, rather than spreading his nonsense to corrupt more of the world.

    At least, in a way, he makes me feel like less of a terrible person... At least I'm not him, right?

    Unfortunately he is going to take advantage of the high levels of homophobia in my country.

    Male same sex activity is illegal here and you can end up in jail for showing affection to your partner. Jamaica has more churches per square miles than any other country so people are deeply religious and the Bible is taken literally.

    Not too long ago a 16 year old crossdressing boy was run over by a car, shot, stabbed and beaten by a mob of angry, violent homophobes. Up to today no one has been charged or arrested for the brutal crime.

    I am afraid to say that religion can bring out the worst in people.    ​
