Am I right to want to go to an LGBT friendly university?

    Unless one is in a country that's generally not hospitable to LGBT people, or one is specifically going to a religious school, the majority of universities and colleges are pretty accepting. Certainly there are some more than others, and if other things are equal, choosing a school with a lot of resources for LGBT people is a great thing. But on the whole, I think you'll find most schools (with the exceptions mentioned) are pretty decent places.

    As long as your grades are good and you pass, most jobs you get after don't seem to care about what school you went to anyways, so pick the one that speaks to you!
