I drink alcohol time till time but in fact it happens really rare... I like to relax with my boyfriend or friends with good wine/champagne/coctail but never to drink too much, my body doesn't feel good at all in other cases. Besides relaxing doesn't mean always drinking :icon_bigg

It honestly really depends, but I only drink in social sitautions: concerts, at a friend's, etc. I don't think I've ever just cracked a beer by myself. I can go 3 months without a drop, and drink daily for a week straight. Depends on the situation. Usually on vacations and so forth I drink a fair amount.

Due to being on anti-depressants and my psychiatrist giving me a lecture about mixing alcohol with my medication, I no longer drink alcohol. But when I still drank alcohol...

Special occasions or Friday nights and weekends.

I used to drink beer (Black Label), ciders, rum or brandy, sometimes wine.

Never. I have never been drunk in my life, and don't really miss alcohol now, so I never really had a drinking problem, or something to be concerned about.

Yes, a few times actually. In the back of my mind I knew I shouldn't be drinking alcohol at all, but a nice cold beer on a hot day is just so refreshing. Now I still drink beer, but alcohol-free beer. It doesn't taste exactly the same, but it's close enough to satisfy my craving for beer, so

I don't drink. I don't enjoy it and as a general rule it's pretty bad for you, as well as expensive. I view it the same way as I view cigarettes - if you're not addicted, why would you pay to damage your body?
I'm not a snob about it, I don't care if other people drink as long as they don't end up off their head and expecting me to deal with their drunk ass. Also the people I used to be friends with were extremely immature about drinking which I guess put me off it a bit?

I drink possibly 2-3 times a week usually with meals. I get drunk probably once every two weeks but not sloppy, stumbling, slurred speech drunk. I usually drink beer, if not beer then bourbon and in a average sitting I consume maybe three drinks. There was a period a few years ago where I believed I did have a slight drinking problem. I ended up giving up drinking for about three years and it was oddly easy in fact and it wasn't until fairly recently that I started drinking on a semi-regular basis again. Actually I go weeks and even months without drinking without even noticing.

I drink, mostly wine. it's because wine tastes better to me & it's easier for me to get drunk from wine than from vodka. I have no idea why.
and I mostly drink to forget or make myself feel better, so it's not very healthy. ._.

When I was 13/14 I used to get drunk alone just to get numb. Now this still happens on the last evening in the holidays when I realize that I've got to go to school the next day, but it's a lot better. If I'm at a party or something with other people I refuse to drink or just have a sip or two if I'm curious about the taste ('Ficken' is still the best ever) but mostly it just 'bores' me in some way and doesn't affect me that much.

I never drink. I don't like alcohol, my biggest alcohol experience was few years ago during one family wedding, and it was just very small amount of beer. I don't care if someone drinks (unless they get really drunk, which I find disgusting) but it upsets me a lot when someone is trying to convince me to drink (and that happens quite often, usually coming from my extended family) and they ignore my opinion about alcohol.
In fact, I think I have a fear of becoming drunk.. not sure if it is a phobia or if it's called somehow..

    I drink a couple times a week.

To me, I like beer or malt liquor. I feel it's very stereotypical for black people to drink malt liquor, so why not continue the fucking stereotype.

But I love fine liquor. Rum, vodka, whisky, tequila.

    I like wine as well.

I know my limit. So I don't think I have a problem. I know not to drink and drive, and to drink responsibly.

I know that alcohol is a depressant, but I like it anyways.

    So I like to drink.

I don't drink much, but I find myself actively seeking an occasion to get drunk.
    I guess it's bad already.

I like wine and cider the most, I can't choose.

I absolutely hate alcohol. I hate what it does to people and their behavior. And seeing people drunk just strengthens my will to never drink. I saw what it has done to one of my relatives. He's now just a broken shell of his former self, thanks to the alcohol.
I have decided to never get drunk in my whole life, and I know I have strong will to achieve so. Plenty of people already tried to force me a drink, all of them failed, including my friends.
Why would I have to drink anyway? To have fun for a while? I can have plenty of fun without alcohol. I think the negatives of alcohol really outweigh the positives.

And if there's a name for a phobia of getting drunk then I probably have it.

When other people drink, that's their choice. But if someone tries to force me a drink, even when I say no, that's one of the very few things that can make me really furious.

The only time I drink is the communion wine at church. I don't like the idea of getting drunk, I think getting drunk or high is not a good thing. I don't think I would like the taste of beer. I might like red wine (if it's not too bitter) or something mixed with cola, but overall not a big fan.

I'm a light drinker for the most part. I only really like to drink if I'm around others and usually when they're drinking too. I normally have a glass of red wine and that's usually it. Sometimes I might drink a couple of beers of have a sdcrewdriver.

I don't drink at all. I don't have a problem with alcohol and I don't have a problem with people who drink I just never got in to drinking. I bought a small bottle of vodka and a small bottle of rum for Christmas and still haven't touched them and don't intend to. I just don't like the taste of alcohol. I don't get the point of making yourself dehydrated, losing your inhibitions and wasting money on something pointless. I also never got why some of my friends binge drank. They went to a concert one night but drank so much they couldn't remember it. Whats the point? I drank two drinks out with family and I hated the effect it had on my head. I could tell I was acting like an idiot but couldn't stop myself. I have zero tolerance because I never drink.

Have you ever seen the big bang theory? Basically I am just like Raj and cannot talk to attractive girls or girls I like at all when i'm sober. I dont know, I open my mouth and nothing comes out at all. But once I have managed to have a few drinks I am able to chat girls up really easily and well you can guess the rest ;-) So for me it isn't a waste of money, because the cost of getting myself drunk, entry fees and the opportunity to socialise at night is 100% necessary for me to pull girls.

As for why binge drink, everyone is different. Personally I love the endorphins rush I get, happiness and muscle relaxation. I don't drink everyday or ever to quench my thirst. I only have alcohol with the intention to binge drink when clubbing, which is usually 2-4 times a month. To stay in shape I always go for a run after a night out, running with a bad hangover is brutal and its a great incentive to drink less next time! Although exercising keeps me in shape on the outside I do realise the damage I'm doing to my insides must be bad.

How often do you drink? Daily? Weekly? On special occasions?
Maybe about once a month? Once every month and a half?

What sort of alcohol do you drink? How much do you drink on a single occasion?
My two favourites are Blackfly (sugary with vodka) or Heineken. Because I don't drink often and I'm fairly skinny, after about 3 cans I'm a happy level of wasted lol I have never drank enough to black out or throw up; to me thats dumb af.

Have you ever worried that you might have a problem saying no to alcohol?
I used to. I used to drink way too much for the wrong reasons. Now I only buy alcohol for those occasions where I'm going out. Don't drink at home or keep any sitting around at home. I literally just turned down an offer this weekend to go drinking.

Have you ever considering cutting alcohol out completely?
    Hmm. Not really, no.

I have never had a drink. Partially because I'm underage in the US but also for other reasons. I don't judge others for drinking unless they're hurting others (driving drunk, abuse, etc). I don't think I will ever drink. My father was (and still is) an alcoholic and I worry that I will follow in his footsteps. I think if I were to drink it would quickly become a problem. Anytime I think of what it would be like to drink, I imagine myself spiraling out of control. I have a bit of an eating disorder so in my mind if i can't have a good relationship with food, i won't have one with alcohol. My hope is that by the time I am old enough to buy alcohol, I have my issues figured out so I can relax with friends on the weekend and have a night out without becoming an alcoholic.
