Age of Consent

It's 16 here in Canada I think that's it should be lowered to 14 or 15 because at that point your a teenager you've got your won body your going through hormonal changes Your fantasizing about girls or guys depending on the situation So I think at that point in your life you know what you want you know whether you want to have sexual intercourse with another 15 year old or a 30 year old I think it's a little bit of a bold move but I think 14 and 15 year olds are Very capable of making their own decesion sexually

 

From what I've seen, people are prone to make stupid decisions resulting in emotional and/or physical harm at any age, and getting older doesn't change this. Sex can cause problems for you no matter when you start it, and there is always a risk. I refuse to believe that the human brain "levels up" and gains responsibility. No—you either act responsibly or you don't. The average adult makes many responsible and irresponsible decisions. With that in mind I would set the age of consent at 15 or lower, but only because I expect humans to be idiots by and large prone to make mistakes and ruin their lives no matter their age, and lowering the age of consent should at least eliminate some degree of needless scandal.

 

18 for people having sex with people over 18
16-18 for people having sex with other 16- 18 yos

 

It didn't stop me when the age for consent was 18 it wouldn't have if it was 16 or 21 or 100. The age for consent should be to prevent older people having inappropriate sexual relationships with minors, not making young people feel like criminals. That only encourages young people to make unsafe decisions.

 

I guess 16 but I think I'm gonna have sex like when I'm 25. Minimum.

And yes I think having sex young it's a bad idea.

But making having sex illegal till 18 or 20 it's... Weird
