    Hi

Just a simple question. What about age caps in a relationship. Recently trying to date again but the guys I like are sometimes 5-7 years my senior.

    I’m 29

Does this sound weird? Why am I considering this an potential issue?

At 29, being with someone 5 to 7 years older isn't outside of reason. What really matters is that you feel comfortable, and that the relationship is relatively balanced (meaning, that the older person isn't caretaking, supporting you financially, etc... that the interactions and support should be relatively mutual.)

Now... if you're considering it a potential issue, perhaps you are uncomfortable with it for some reason, and that might be worth exploring. When you consider it, what parts of it concern you?
