Adolescent brain development: What happens to gay adolescent who have their sexuality suppressed?

    I've read in the past, references to how important a time early to mid adolescence is for human brain development. (and yes, late period adolescence too) Connections and networks are being made. Per my limited research, this is a period of time "your you" is being made. Very concerning, connections and networks becoming permanent - maybe.

    I ask, has anyone seen a study about impact(s) and ramifications of suppressed innate sexuality has on the human brain? (wording ??)
