Have any of you ever only dated one gender? Is it weird that I rather girls than guys??
I have dated men and a woman. I have a preference towards men, but I'm still attracted to women.
It isn't weird to prefer one or the other. Some bisexuals are 50/50. Some are 80/20, 20/80, even 99/1 if you want to take the label to an extreme level.
In the end, bisexual describes someone that is attracted to more than one gender, regardless of preferences. If you think it fits you, that what matters. You are who you are, and, if labels are confusing and/or limiting you, don't worry about them.
I have only dated men because the girls I liked didn't like me back, even though I prefer women. I'm probably about 80 girls/20 men.
I think Chiroptera said it perfectly: It varies per person whether you're 50/50 or 80/20. etc.
I'd say I'm pretty 50/50 on this
Personally I would prefer to date guys rather than girls (no offense to any girls) but it's just how I am.
It's not weird at all. I'm about 50/50, though that fluctuates quite a bit
I am just more into guys at this point in my life. Girls just never seem into me, and I just like the "D" more than the "V", but women can still get me aroused. Sorry to sound childish, but it's about attraction. I do have a thing for women that like to dominate men. But again, the ladies aren't into me.
I can't say preference either way, as I have very little dating experience. But I'd say that it's more about personality than anything else.
No it's not weird! I think I'm like you with this except for me it's guys rather than girls. I'd split it roughly 80/20.
I've only dated girls. While this is convenient for appearances' sake, I feel like I'm missing out, or at least that I'm not gay enough to join the club. :S
I'm not the most experienced person to talk about this, but I identify as bisexual, and I've kind of realized that bisexuality is different for everyone who identifies with it.
I have an attraction to both men and women but it's not an even attraction. Sometimes I prefer men more, sometimes women. I'd say I prob prefer men more, slightly, but that maybe because I've never had a chance to freely explore my attraction to men.
I've only been with one guy and it was a mixed experience. I invited him to my fraternity house and it was an awkward experience all around because I rushed everything.
I've never been with a woman but I also feel like my attraction to women has been hindered because I feel like many straight women get taken aback and turned off by men who say they are bisexual.
well i've only been with women, was married, had a kid. but since coming out i feel my strongest attraction to men. but then since i came out as Bi sexual i am now aware that i am a woman in a male body.
Bisexual but I prefer men
Hmm for me it fluctuates, or it's not even relevant, what's the gender of the other person. I don't know. At this point, I'm with a girl, and I feel very gay, but I don't forget that I've had strong feelings for men too.
Never dated anyone (only mentally - 2 men, 1 woman) but in real life I have a preference for women over men. Although I put that to a preference of femininity over masculinity, which more women than men are.
i have only dated men (i have only dated one person though) but i have had crushes on both genders, i'm just too shy to ask anyone out
So far, both my relationships were with cis women.
It's hard for me to say cause I've only started realizing that I like women about half a year ago until realizing that I am in fact bisexual just recently.
Before I would only feel attracted to men.
Right now I have a boyfriend.
But other than that I tend to feel more attracted to women lately.
Maybe it varies from time to time?
Hahaha I guess it simply depends on the person I'm attracted to...
I vary! Whether I prefer men or women kinda changes on a daily basis, haha :3 Though usually I find myself preferring women ^~^
My boyfriend is my first relationship so only dated a dude. My attraction is stronger to boys though.
