1. I'm just not an artistic person at all in so many ways: I can't draw for shit, my bedroom is completely plain, and I have no signature or avatar on here. MEH.

2. I keep notepad docs and spreadsheets on all sorts of crap (my favourite songs week-by-week, the films I've seen, the WEATHER) that anyone else would have absolute even no interest in knowing, let alone keeping track over time. I would never admit any of this offline.
3. ... but I'm not autistic or aspergic at all! I'm flabbergasted as well.

4. I checked my university email today and they've given me a cash award for being one of the best in the year at French language. Over the MOON. And I do consider myself to be pretty good at its grammar! (and English grammar, just for the reference, although I'm a descriptivist)

5. I capitalise random words in sentences for emphasis or simply because my posts lack personality.

6. I trust my judgement and opinions above everyone else's. And that probably gives me a pretty warped opinions + a degree of arrogance. But I don't realise/acknowledge that.

7. I accepted my sexuality many years ago so I'm not quite sure why I'm on this site when everyone else comes and goes. But hey, there must be something that keeps me coming back!

8. I have five distinct friendship groups (middle school, high school, my local town, my old flatmates, next year's flatmates), all of whom I keep in contact with every week but have never properly 'interlinked' with one another. I'm not a proper extrovert by any means but I'm a social slut.

9. I don't give a shit about my privacy. The mass surveillance doesn't bother me (that's probably my political view most out of line with everyone else's thoughts), although I'm definitely not a fan on America's treatment of Edward Snowden or spying on allies for information they could've got if they asked nicely.

10. I'm probably sounding like a complete arsehole. That might be because I am one.

And yep, I've gone completely over the five-fact limit. I just have too much to say!

1. I'm loyal to a fault to friends and the family members I care about, since you can't pick your family
2. I'm a nonconformist, on most levels, despite a very conventional appearance
3. I come off as approachable and easy to talk to, but I'm an introvert at heart
4. I prefer intellectual pursuits to sports, though my appearance might suggest competence in sports as well to some people
5. I love reading, travel, geography, trivia, and learning about history and culture, especially since English is not my first language

5) When I used to play with my toys, I would use each action figure, doll, figurine, mini-figure, lego, and block to build a city. Each action figure had their own name, personality, and relations with each other. Some acquaintances, lovers, and a wave on the street, "hello." Once I played out a really sad session, I literally cried as I went along playing with the toys. [This is probably one of my deepest, darkest secrets. :lol:]

3. I used to be antisocial to the point that simple conversations would make me nervous. I used to have a rule as a child that I could only truly befriend 1 person at a time so that I didn't have to deal with the stress and drama of friendships... I was a lonely child... Now i can't shut up and have developed a mini stuttering problem because i talk so fast

4. I used to be in love with my friend when i was in 2nd-5th grade. I think he loved me back, he was always nice to me and defending me.. but he was afraid that he might be gay... like really afraid, so nothing ever happened. I didn't fully understand the concept, just knew that i liked him. He knew what gay meant and rejected it, which really hurt me because i didn't understand. I was so mad that when he moved that summer, i spent the day crying in my room and i didn't go to say good bye. Someone rang the doorbell a few times and I didn't answer because i was afraid it might be him. Now hes bisexual (and open with it) and i regret not ever saying goodbye to him He was my first male friend ever.

5. My favorite word is "Haecceity" it is essentially a word that describes the small details and properties of something that literally makes it "It" ... you could say its synonym is "essence", but its a bit more specific. Some Synonyms are Hypokeimenon and Quiddity (the latter is less specific than Haecceity) I spend my time in school researching old languages, old words, etymology, etc etc. just for fun xD
