Day 16 - A song that you used to love but now hate

Now, I know it's probably some sort of sacrilege to post a song by this legendary band in this category. However, I do have a reason for choosing it. Back when I was in year 10 at high school, we had to create an arrangement of a song by this band, but no more than two people were allowed to arrange the same song. My favourite song was already taken, so I chose this song as I used to quite liked this one as well (and no one else had chosen it). Being a song I like, I thought I wouldn't get sick of listening to it over and over again while trying to work out my arrangement. By the time I was finished, I was so over it that I was glad I didn't do my favourite song.

I won't say that I necessarily hate it, and my aversion to it has lessened as the years have passed. However, I still don't enjoy listening to it a lot.

FYI, my favourite Beatles song is Penny Lane.

It said you can't listen to The Rock (my radio station) for an hour without hearing either a Foo Fighters, Greenday or Metallica song.

 

Day 17 - A song you hear often on the radio

It doesn't seem to matter what station I listen to, I always seem to hear songs by this artist, and that is pretty much the reason why I don't like them (as well as appearing to be so popular with bogans). I'm not saying they are necessarily bad, but there is such a thing as over-playing songs and I get sick of hearing the same artists over and over again. I want variety!!!!

I've only actually heard this band once and well that one time was enough for me to really like it. So if they could be played more, it would be nice

 

Day 18 - A song that you wish you heard on the radio

In doing this challenge, I have always tried to avoid posting songs which have been posted by others doing the challenge. I have only done it once so far, but I have to do it again today. While I do hear this band on the radio on a very regular basis, I never hear this song at all. I don't understand why radio stations don't play this song. It's such a good song and I wish they would play it.

It's a beautiful song, almost brings me to tears every time I hear it. It helps that 3OH!3 doesn't normally do this kind of song.
