From the time I was in high school, I was the guy that took the dare to switch clothes with female friends. I learned that a skirt can be very comfortable - especially on a hot day. Because of this, I’ve always been a little surprised that our patriarchal society has not adopted them into mens fashion (except half the grooms I know that chose a kilt as their wedding attire). I’ve always found that a little ironic, too. Most of those would have teased, or even berated, a man in a skirt at any other time, but choose to wear it in front of friends and family for an important celebration.
In short, I’m very pro skirt for men in general - not as a ‘cross-dressing’ item necessarily (although I fully support that, too of course), but for comfort.

Skirts aren't personally my thing (neither are dresses or any of that), but if a guy wants to wear a skirt then cool. I certainly won't be giving him crap over it. Also want to mention gladiators wore skirts, I was just having a conversation about that a couple of days ago.

I actually wear one on occasion around the house. It's my wife's and she likes it. But never in public.

This is kind of one of those areas where it depends on the person, as I have seen some cute boys in skirts and I have seen a few who did not pull off the look at all.

It depends honestly. I'm a little chubby but I have a nice round booty so the backside of the skirt look is pretty hot!

Because of my life I'm forced to cross-dress almost all of the time but I slay it so much plus I don't mind skirts! I think skirts and pants look good on any gender, so case closed.

I think clothing is genderless and people should be able to wear that they want regardless of identity. I have seen pictures of male celebrities wearing skirts and dresses at red carpet events and they really pulled it off!

Any guy would pull it off though! Not just celebrities.

I agree with you all. I want to wear a shirt, but just haven’t gotten there yet. Most of my body is hairless at this point
(have long hair and very short beard) and I am preparing to go there. I have gone shopping for a skirt, but haven’t actually tried one on. Soon though I will. I’ve located a couple of clothing shops owned by gay, lesbian, and bi folks in Austin. Getting there slowly but surely. I love going out with my bra on. Have B cup silicone inserts. Amazing how I feel like this is an identifier for me that creates a path to full acceptance for me of who I am. I’m still considering HRT, but not sure it’s worth it at my age. I may be fooling myself but it seems to make a difference in how I feel about myself. Most people don’t even notice as far as I can tell. Those that do don’t stare. It just feels right! Anyway thanks for the question.
