It’s early Sunday morning here. I’m wide awake, waiting for the dawn. I thought of EC and decided to say hello. It has been a while since I was on the site. I’m doing good and have established a reasonable rhythm in my life. I have a lot to be thankful for, for the way EC has helped me on my personal path. I wish you all the very best as we come into the holiday season and look forward to the new year.

@Jakebusman — Thanks for asking. My journey continues. I see a guy now regularly. I don’t think I ever mentioned him here on EC. I first met him over 2 years ago as I was walking one morning. We would greet each other when we cross paths, until one day I got up enough nerve to ask him if he would like to exchange numbers. To my surprise he said yes. And he has turned out to be very much my type of guy. It hasn’t all been fun though. He suffered very serious injuries on the job earlier this year, was hospitalized for over a month, and fortunately he pulled through. He has months of rehab still, but he’s making steady progress. The experience has had an upside —we have got very close.
