I was disappointed they all seemed to experience guys being rude to them for not coming out sooner

That sucks. Not sure what would compel people to have a problem with coming out at any age. Not everyone's circumstances are the same and for some its not even safe. I wish everyone could just realize it's not up the them when someone should come out. Only one person can make the decision.

Maybe I misunderstood them. I think most people were welcoming to them. These guys were all married for a long time so they had stuff going on. I suppose some get mad when it was safe and didn't have anything stopping them and still wouldn't do the hard thing, when others who had it much worse did come out?

I guess. I just don't believe it's ever ANYONE'S place to say when someone should or shouldn't come out. It's an individual choice that should be 100% respected. I'm 55 and only out to a few. I'm gay and have been married to a woman for almost 19 years. Still married to her, we're best friends and once I realized my own sexuality I came out to her. We just were not willing to throw away the emotional bond we forged over almost two decades. Not sure where we will eventually end up but we both know that even if we split and go live our own individual lives we will still be best friends.

I thought that's what they said in the video, did you watch it? I think it was in the last half to third of it. That's great you two get along so well

Yes, but some people can't respect those personal boundaries and choices. They make it a one size fits all situation. It's not at all like that. People's circumstances on here sometimes seem similar and then when you get into the details, they're really not the same. They're just similar.
