After battling with my emotions, my faith and what I really want. I just want to make new connections to discuss how to meet people who feel the same. I have felt lost, low and incomplete. Not really sure what the next steps for me are. Anyone who would like to chat would be great.

Hi Rachel! You have found a good place to reach out to people who understand where you're at and can talk about it without judgement. You are not alone. Lots of us have come out later in life with spouses and kids. You have taken an important step in accepting yourself and reaching out to others. I am a gay man who didn't come out until I was in my fifties. I struggled with my faith and what this meant to my family. But now it's been 3 years as an out and proud gay man and I am so glad I did it. Congratulations on accepting yourself .

Take it one step at a time. You are entering a scary and at the time exciting time in your life. Finally being able to embrace being a lesbian will eventually provide you with the liberation and freedom you need to live the gay life you were meant to. Embrace your lesbianism, live as you were meant to. EC is a fantastic support site. Congrats on finally being who you are.

Hi Rachel, congratulations on coming out. I came out a few years ago, but didn't really accept it until this year at 47, I also have children and struggled with my faith and I actually still struggle with it on occasion. It was scary, however it does get easier.
