I used to love Domino’s ham and pineapple pizza, but I had one a couple of weeks ago and got a stomach ache straight after eating it.

I don’t think Domino’s is a food for those in their mid-30s.

    OH HELL YES.

This is a burning topic between my girlfriend and I hahah. The same as 'Chocolatine' vs. 'Pain au chocolat' and I will not surrender.

In my humble opinion, no one is qualified to say that pineapple does not belong on pizza unless they have actually tried it.

It may sound ridiculous, but it's amazingly good.

Unfortunately, with my sensitive stomach, the tomato in pizza gives me a stomach ache. I can have tomato in small amounts, but not to the extent of pizza slices. Which is a shame since pizza is great but it's not worth the pain afterwards. Cheesy garlic bread is a great work around. I'd never put pineapple on my cheesy garlic bread though, simply because I hate pineapple. Sensory wise it's a nightmare. I hate the texture, I hate how it feels on my tongue, it's just a big old no thank you. Heck I don't even like the smell of pineapple. I don't understand the appeal at all.

White pizzas (pizza with a white sauce and cheese, usually with a lot of garlic) are wonderful. And here in the US, there's a chain called Pizza Twist that has Indian pizzas that have minimal to no tomato in at least some of the versions they have. That's gotten to be my favorite pizza.

Pesto pizza is another one... pizza with a pesto sauce instead of tomato sauce. Yummy!

I've never heard of a white pizza before, but after looking into it, I'll definitely have to give it a try some time. Thank you for the suggestion.

I have tried it. Sometimes I've had it when it's the only pizza available.

I still say it doesn't belong on pizza.

Ah, but that's where you're wrong, good person. When someone typically goes for a pizza they are craving those pizza attributes. Something umami/meaty or cheesy that blends with the other ingredients. There are people who like sweet and savory, but I speak for my people when I say sweetness has no place in my palate. I don't like anything sweet mixed with something else like savory. Sweets are to be enjoyed on their own in my opinion and trying to do sweet+sour or something similar is blasphemous to me.

I do love a bit of hyperbole, but I do also acknowledge the countless others who do not share my palate. HOWEVER. SIR. I am not about to tell you YOU'RE wrong for not liking salty-sweet. How DARE you tell me I'm wrong? How dare you!? HOW DARE YOU!?

Pistols! At dawn! I will have satisfaction!*

*All this is a joke, I don't mean a word, I encourage everyone to eat what they like most and don't let a soul on Earth tell you how to eat, but I also encourage you to be open to new experiences much love omg goodbye! ''^_^
