Female. 20 year old. College student. I've been questioning my sexuality for quite a time (5 years to be exact). But just for the record, I've always been attracted to men. For as long as I remember- from fictional/celeb crushes to real life crushes, they've all been men. I've never been in any kind of relationship though, because the idea of being with someone always repelled me (probably). This all changed when I first hit my puberty and found internet. I discovered that even though I was romantically attracted to men but they never- hit me where they should. I felt butterflies in my stomach, sure, but they never "turned me on" as people would phrase it. Maybe because I was just a kid, I comforted myself. But then why do women turn me on? Maybe cuz I was just a pervert. I thought to myself. But I didn't like that. I have fantasies of making out the famous female celebs and whenever I come across a pretty girl. This has been driving me crazy!! One time I see a Female Lecturer and then I am all flustered. Is this normal? I've been asking this to myself: "Am I bisexual or just a straight pervert?"

I hope that we can help you in the same way that I received help. The most important thing to remember about Empty Closets is that we do care about you! We're very glad that you found us here on EC and hope that we can answer questions, give support if you need it and provide a place to vent (as long as it's not violent!) when that becomes necessary! I really doubt that you are any kind of a pervert. You ask if you are "Normal" and the answer to that is what is normal for you? Sexuality is rarely completely black or white. Most people are not 100% gay or straight. Almost everyone has a little bit of both mixed into their sexuality, although for most of us, one is by far more evident. Sometimes sexuality can "shift" a little bit. There are even people for whom it shifts quite a bit. You may be in be of those categories. It may be that all of this will settle down to one or the other in time or you may find that you are bisexual...which is in no way unusual. I think you just need to give yourself time and patience and the answer will become obvious. Just click on a member's Avatar Picture and then click on "Profile Page" in the dialogue box that pops up. You'll then be on their Profile Page and there will be a box that says: "Write Something" When you have been on EC for a few weeks and have made at least 50 posts on various forums, you can apply for Full Membership. A Full Member can send Private Messages (PM) to other Full Members and share personal contact info. Right now you can only send a PM to a Staff Member as that is always possible.
