If you want to explore your gender and feel safe doing so in your environment, go for it! My main advice to you is this - you're in control. Don't let people in your life or societal expectations in general hold you back from being your true self. Don't let others rush you, but don't let them stop you either. If you don't want to conform to stereotypical male and female boxes, you don't have to. True friends and family will respect you no matter who you are and how you express yourself, so if people don't respect this part of you, screw them - they're not worth your time.
