    hi Jo,

welcome to EC! is a fear of anxiety or a fear for something else? like getting to know them? have you tried talking to anyone male person to try to overcome this anxiety fear to brush it away or even telling a close friend who is male how you feel? maybe that could help!

Do you mean in general, Jo? Or with a view to a romantic relationship?

I can relate to the former. Just after I had the epiphany about my gender last year I found it very difficult to talk to men. But then I was feeling very vulnerable and, looking back, wanted to fortify myself and gather a female support network around me before I started the tricky process of coming out to my male friends.

Is this similar to what you're going through?

Hi Jo! If it's a fear, because of some kind of trauma, then I recommend talking about it with a therapist. Therapist can help you to find out, what might cause that fear.
