I often wear my rainbow collar (a gift from my fellow gay and furry partner) often so show my lgbtqia+ pride and furry pride, I often have jokes made at me for wearing a collar I was wondering what your opinions on people wearing collars are?

I own a few spiked, leather collars. Along with the rest of my leather getup and blu-ray copy of 1980's Cruising, it's a piece of memorabilia from when I'd frequent gay leather bars. Met my boyfriend there, actually.

Not something I'd probably partake in but wouldn't phase me seeing someone in public wearing one, to be honest seeing a guy wearing a skirt I wouldn't bat an eye at.

It wouldn't phase me at all, as I know its something some people really enjoy.

If you like it, then I don’t see why not. I would maybe only question that fashion taste in my mind , but it won’t really phase me. It’s just an accessory. Not something for me though

If people want to wear them, certainly their choice and way to show their individuality. Not my thing, but I wouldn't really think much one way or the other of someone wearing one.

Sp3ct3re.....I see no problem with it at all...but then I'm part of the queer community. I don't know if you are out at school or not. If you are it will probably increase any bullying that you are already getting. If you're not out, then you can expect the bullying to start. In any case, you will most likely expect some bullying. The school administration may even ask you to take it off...I don't know how conservative your school admin is. At the school where I taught for 33 years, a kid came to school with a leather, spiked collar. He was bullied really bad. It actually worked in his favor. The administration felt that if they asked him to take it off that they would be giving in to the bullies. So instead, they let him keep wearing it and used the situation as a way to come down hard on the bullies. Score one for the queer community!

I'm glad you wrote this thread... I wish for that one collar that looks like a black diagonal "fence"... Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
