I came out to my friend yesterday! Just wanted to celebrate with someone as I've chickened out 3 times before, over 2 years. It was a non event as he's pretty cool but still a big deal to me. I made a pride cross stitch for another friend and we got talking about it and he starting telling me about an actor in his favourite show coming out as trans. I almost just let talk turn to the show in general but blurted out "I don't think I've ever mentioned that I'm bi. So yeah. Though I should tell you, as you're one of my closest friends." Then had that awkward "yeah there's not really a time to bring it up so I've never said anything" chat and that was it. I knew he'd be fine as he's totally pro trans stuff and we've discussed representation a lot, and he has other LGBT+ friends. But still hard to bring up. So YAY! Celebrate with meee!
