Why am I considered tech support for my parents. Yes I can change the time on my dads phone and download an app on to his tablet and I had to create an email address and an Amazon account for him when he got a kindle. I taught my mother to use an iPad and she stopped using my old one and bought herself one. Which I had to download all the apps and create new profiles on the streaming services I pay for. My dad fails to understand that my generation is good with electronics but that doesn’t mean that I know why the sky box isn’t working or how to fix it.

I wish I was more artistic/creative. When I try to make things pretty my logical sense of balance always shows up! For the love of all that's Holy I don't need to walk around with a yard stick measuring my home decor to the exact placement of opposite items!! But it makes me nuts if I don't. I even have a mini level for my pictures! That's what I'm thinking about right now lol

This is my story too. My parents refused to ever get me checked for anything because they wanted me to be normal. I have never had a good relationship with them. Growing up, hearing I was normal, and then realizing I wasn't was the worst thing ever. I hated being gay and I hated that my parents didn't care.

    I'm thinking about back pain.

I’m thinking about how I haven’t seen my sister in over a year and she’s coming home tomorrow. She’s coming home to a bag full of Christmas gifts she insisted we didn’t send. After the flights were cancelled she had me unwrap the gifts I’d bought her over video call. I miss her until she annoys me and I go back to wishing she’d leave.

I don’t drink either and a lot of people do seem to see it as something they need to try to change.

Thinking about how much I actually use/rely on the internet after we lost internet for a couple of hours.

I was missing phone books there for a bit

Sometimes I wonder how we humans would cope with a geomatic storm that could affect satelites, communication and power grids. When a geomatic storm hit earth in 1859, it affected the telegraph systems but other than that people weren't too affected by it. In today's world of connectivity and reliance on technology, it could look quite different.

I’m thinking about how if I slept 8 hours I should be well rested but I really feel I could sleep another 8. This always happens if I’m up during the day. If I run on a nocturnal schedule I’m not as tired.

I'm going to my cousin's wedding today, which means I'll be seeing my family for the first time in two years. It's such a weird feeling.

I'm at a new ice rink for my kids competition and the handicap accessibility is horrible, I mean absolutely horrible!! I literally cry for my son! These companies need to all have an individual in a wheelchair when they design these places!! ADA regulations are too narrow and often skirted. It's ridiculous!! I'm so upset

Right now, I'm thinking that even though one of my relative's is gay, successful, and happily married, he frequently ignores my inquiries for advice, either about life in general or for my writing career. I used to be jealous of him and his husband, but over time I've come to realize just how pretentious he's become...and that they are my only sample of socializing with the LGBTQ community, if there is any in Minnesota.

I have to go to work tomorrow, and I'm thinking of how little I'll be able to write in a short story before I have to sleep.

Ended up reading the entire weekend (with some breaks here and there), letting the world go by.... My weekend mirrored that of last weekend. If I would have a boyfriend, he'd feel neglected by now.

The new shift is actually pretty good. Thought I might hate waking so early, but it's nice getting home mid afternoon

Life is so boring during COVID. If there was something to do or somewhere to go I probably would stay at home doing nothing but I miss being able to choose to be a socially awkward loner. I usually insult people accidentally and I don’t make friends easily. I also hate crowds of people and being alone really works for me. I get lonely sometimes but I’ll live.

I'm thinking I'm trying not to miss her, but I do. Since after the last issue I haven't seen her much. May see her this weekend. It's hard to be in love with a good friend.
