When they said Do one thing everyday that scares you, I really doubt they meant phoning the dentist and buying something from your old work place :laughing:

Absolutely depressing the older I get, the more dirty details of Canada's past I find out. Residential schools get more depressing the more they find and the more I learn :/ *sigh*

Every country has some bad history. I think it’s better to be informed and have the truth even if it is depressing.

I’m procrastinating but I’m thinking about not procrastinating but thinking about it means I am procrastinating, so really I already made my decision.

If your “friends” aren’t there for you in your darkest and most difficult times, what’s the point of having them?

Next vehicle I get, I want to get an electric (or hybrid electric). Ford just released their F150 hybrid and I’m intrigued, though too bad it’s not a Chevy... :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Do you prefer Chevy over Ford? I’ve owned both, and usually I would take a Chevy over a Ford.

I prefer Chevy, but I feel they’re all made so similarly now, that there’s probably not going to be a whole lot of difference.

    Congrats!

My coworkers showed me a lot of love today. I don't really know why tbh, it was just out of the blue, but as someone who has been socially awkward most their life and nervous interacting with people, it felt really nice.

Gotta say, not enjoying the constant defense of my existence. Oh, and also I'm really longing for this one person I'm close with right now.

Actually hasn’t been that bad. I think I was more tired with the first one. I took an allergy pill about an hour after the shot to see if it would ween out symptoms, and I think it worked.

John Travolta and Lisa Marie Presley should be a couple.

Watched a show called "How to Survive a Plague." It was about HIV/Aids. I didn't realize that a medication regiment that actually worked didn't arrive until 1996. I was six years after HS graduation for me. I often wish that I could have been young and free like all of you but maybe my internalized homophobia saved me.

I knew people who died from being "young and free", I was fortunate in that though I did experiment before the news got out I did not get infected.

Ugh I’m now feeling the side effects of the second dose. I had muscle aches and barely got any sleep. I have a temperature of 99F.

I felt like crap all day due to being scared of covid and being depressed, then the day became the night and it hit really hard. I don’t remember what normal was. What is normal? Was life ever normal? What does it even mean?

Well, I am feeling much better today. I also have some good news. I am no longer insulin resistant, and I am one speed test away from passing out of the jury charge portion of my program. After that I will focus on Q&A and literary.
